Ask Sally: Overlooked in Business Class

Dear Sally, While travelling in Qantas Business Class recently I noticed that I was served my appetiser promptly, and then the steward started serving the two women in seats A and B before me, as well as lingering to chat and top up their wine glasses, before giving me my main course. I was understandly a little brusque because I was treated as if I barely existed. Do you think I should complain? Susan R.

Dear Susan,
I’m sorry to hear about your crushing experience in Business Class. Hired help isn’t what it used to be, is it? But if you’re uglier and grumpier than the women sitting in seats A and B, then there’s not much I can suggest. Next time, you may like to choose a lower-profile airline such as Air Siberia or Chad Airways and sit in Economy where you clearly belong.

  1. Hahahah… Sally, your response was priceless… kallo! Susan obviously suffers from “daaaa grass is always greener on the other side”. These dames are so busy poking their selfish long beaks over the fence saying…”Waaaatttaaa about meeeee???” She needs to be crated and put in with the cargo along with the baggage.
